New Notched Stringers

Stringer lumber refers to the longitudinal supports or beams in a pallet that run parallel to its length and provide the structural foundation for the pallet. Stringers are critical for the stability and load-bearing capacity of the pallet. Stringers can be made from hardwood or softwood. Stringers are usually thicker and more robust than the decking lumber. Stringers are generally around 4” wide and anywhere from 1 1/8” up to 1 5/8”. These can always be 2way or 4way. 4way means there are notches (see below)
